Hmmmm....how come Mariah has to share her bed? (Meghan did this...)
Welcome!
This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.
We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.
We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Small Update
Life is going pretty well here. Pictures will again be forthcoming...we just have to get them off of the camera.
Caleb is doing well. He was looking at the pictures with Keith that are on our camera yesterday, and he saw pictures of his foster family. At first, he looked like he was going to cry, then he put his head on Keith's chest. Keith asked him who that was, he stopped for a second, then said "mama." Then, Caleb lifted his hands and said "all gone." For anyone who feels that toddlers don't know what is going on, I have to disagree!!!
Baby Mariah is doing okay, too. She has acid reflux, which is NOT much fun. She also doesn't sleep much, so we're up every 3 hours, day and night. Talk about being tired!!!!!
Jared and Meghan are doing well, too. I promise more pictures will come soon!

We're still here!
No, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth!
It's been very busy at our house. Caleb is still adjusting very well, and although he definitely has his moments, is doing much better still than we anticipated. He definitely is a little stinker!!!!! He and his older sister, Meghan, are now getting along much better - they fight like brother and sister, of course, but it's much better than it was in the beginning. Meghan is adjusting to having a brother who "always likes to mess with her stuff" (that's her quote about Caleb).
Mariah is also doing very well. Thankfully, she is a very calm baby, which helps tremendously, because her older brothers and sister definitely keep the place hopping!!!

Meghan and Caleb are here “sharing” her Dora pajamas. They both thought it was pretty fun to have Caleb wear her pajama top, as you can tell by the way they are beaming for the camera. I can only imagine their smiles when they figure out that Meghan can dress up Caleb in her princess dresses…

I THINK THIS PICTURE IS SELF-EXPLANATORY! :)
