Welcome!
This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.
We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.
We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Update On Our Family
Sorry for the lack of updates!
Caleb's younger sister, Mariah, decided to make an early appearance. She was born on 2/19, weighing 8 lbs, 3 oz, and 21 inches long. (Big baby!!) She and everyone else is doing very well!
Kris should get out of the hospital on Saturday. She had to have a c-section (after 17 hours of labor) so she is staying a couple of extra days. But she feels great and all is going as well as possible. We hope to get pictures up on the blog soon, thanks for your patience!
Love,
Keith, Kris, Jared, Meghan, Caleb, and Mariah

CALEB IS HOME - YES, HOME!!!
We cannot go into details, and really, does it really matter? Some legal action worked in the Guatemalan courts, and now, finally, Caleb is home. We became "orange" on December 21st, and our Embassy appointment was February 4th. Keith flew back with Caleb on Wednesday, February 6th. It's a bit crazy around here, but things are going very, very well.
We will get more pictures up on the blog when time allows, hopefully later this weekend or early next week.
THANK YOU, everyone, for all of your support, prayers, and faith through this long, drawn-out process. We never, never would have made it without you.
Additionally, some of you know that I am also pregnant. (You know it's a long adoption when you get pregnant along the way!!!!) Baby is still going great, and my due date is February 26th. So this blog will soon be changing to give information about the circus our home is about to become, going from 2 kids to 4 kids in a matter of three weeks!!!!!
Sorry for the choppy post, I'm in a rush to get this up while DH is keeping the 3 kids entertained.
FINALLY, we have been asked NOT to put this on the messageboards. So, we are honoring that request. Thanks for doing the same.
LOVE,
Keith, Kris, and our THREE beautiful children
