Welcome!

This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.

We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.

We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Playing with the New Toy

Keith and I finally got new cell phones. We'd been sharing one Tracfone so that we could save a bit of money. Well, now that soccer season has started, with tee-ball and coach-pitch right around the corner, we both agreed that it was time to bite the bullet and get "real" cell phones. Keith surprised me (pleasantly) by agreeing to texting and unlimited Internet phones as well.

These pics were all taken with the cell phone. I'm actually amazed at the quality!

It's actually like a pedal-bike, and he loves it!

Meghan, the blogger in training
(Okay, I'm kidding, she's playing Dora on the computer)

Mariah and her cute pigtails

Jared wasn't quite sure what I was doing with the phone...
(I get this "what are you doing" look a lot!)

We had a beautiful Saturday weather-wise. 70 degrees and I made sure the kids were outside all day! Here are a couple of random shots.

Mariah liked the bubbles

Meghan and her friends decided to accessorize

This is great...Mariah's bed-head

I still have to get some video of Caleb riding his bike. He now rides a "big boy" bike with training wheels...and does it so well. He is SO coordinated, it's amazing. Jared and Meghan didn't figure out how to pedal tricycles until they were close to 3...and Caleb is riding a bike and knows how to use the brakes as well. Amazing!

Time for an Update!

There's been so much going on lately, and it's hard to time find to update the blog. However, here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Jared's 1st Basketball Tournament

Mariah looking cute (as always!)

Meghan's bathtime antics...

It's a shame she has no personality...

No, this isn't torture. Caleb wanted to be wrapped up after his bath...

He also wanted to be bundled up to watch TV. Under the blanket are all the pillows and cushions we could find.
And while on the subject of pillows and cushions, Meghan and Caleb decided to make a "bed" in the dining room:

This is the "what are you doing, Mom" look:

Poor Mariah...Keith decided to mess with her hair, too...

and she didn't like it a bit!

Mariah blowing a kiss. She obviously is much happier when Mommy does her hair!
