Wordless Wednesday

We have our hands full with this one...

Mariah has been infatuated with climbing lately. Chairs, tables, couches, stairs, you name it! In hopes of keeping her safe, we've had to child-proof a little more, including putting the chairs out of reach after every meal.

See? I'm not kidding:

We have a kid-sized chair and table upstairs, so I thought Mariah would like it for playing. Yeah, what was I thinking????

But how can I be mad at a face like this. Come on, seriously, isn't she adorable???

Lost Tooth!

Big event in our house, Meghan lost her first tooth!!! I was very surprised when it got loose, as she was a very late teether when she was a baby. She is excited cuz she thinks she's a "big girl" now!

Caleb now has us pull on his teeth, to see if they are loose. He just cracks me up. In this picture, he had to show us his teeth as well. :)

Time for an Update!

I figured it is more than time for an update on the kids. Enjoy!!!

Jared has been reading a lot this summer. His goal is to finish all of the Harry Potter books by the end of the summer. Not too bad for an 8 year old, I think!

Yeah, Mariah is a bit of a rebel. Look how she's sitting on the steering wheel. It's a miracle the thing hasn't tipped backwards yet!

Before you watch this, I feel like I have some explaining to do! Mariah had a terrible heat rash and as a result, has been running around topless because she seems happier this way. When watching the video, you can faintly hear music from the Fisher Price house...that is what they are dancing to:
