Welcome!

This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.

We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.

We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Small Update

Life is going pretty well here. Pictures will again be forthcoming...we just have to get them off of the camera.

Caleb is doing well. He was looking at the pictures with Keith that are on our camera yesterday, and he saw pictures of his foster family. At first, he looked like he was going to cry, then he put his head on Keith's chest. Keith asked him who that was, he stopped for a second, then said "mama." Then, Caleb lifted his hands and said "all gone." For anyone who feels that toddlers don't know what is going on, I have to disagree!!!

Baby Mariah is doing okay, too. She has acid reflux, which is NOT much fun. She also doesn't sleep much, so we're up every 3 hours, day and night. Talk about being tired!!!!!

Jared and Meghan are doing well, too. I promise more pictures will come soon!

Hi Kris, glad to see you are doing well. give us pics when you have time. My little one is doing well-- she blows bubbles in the bath, loves green beans and peaches and bananas, has mastered the stairs and likes the crunchy sound of the grass when she walks on it. Ellen (your sayaxche friend)

So glad Caleb is doing well. I so agree with you about what little ones understand.
