Welcome!

This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.

We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.

We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Searching for the Pot of Gold

Meghan's daycare had a "find the leprechaun" contest last week. Each day, the teacher hid a leprechaun, and the person who found it received a pot of gold. Meghan was fortunate enough to find the leprechaun one day. When she brought it home, Mariah (naturally) was very interested in all of the shiny coins. But, can you say CHOKING HAZARD?!?! We had Meghan put them in a drawer, out of Mariah's reach - or so we thought.

Here goes Mariah!

SUCCESS!

Too cute! You are in for some trouble now...the next thing you know your daughter will climb up those drawers and grab handfuls of butter and run through the house.

Not that I would know anyone who does that.
