Welcome!

This blog began as we documented our adoption of our third child, Caleb. It is now an eclectic journal of our often amusing lifestyle with 4 young children.

We do try to "keep it simple" because our lives are obviously busy enough! We try to hold true to what we firmly believe is the most important: family, friends, and faith.

We hope you enjoy our everyday happenings!

Some pictures and how not to babysit...

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese's recently, here are a couple of pictures. (Shame on me, I don't have any pictures of Jared, he was too busy playing basketball with Keith and I was keeping tabs on Caleb and Meghan)

Meghan's Pre-School class sang in church recently. So of course the diva had
to dress up. Isn't she cute?!?!?!

As you can imagine, weekends around here are hectic - it's the best time to get the house cleaned and laundry caught up. Keith assured me that he would keep tabs of the kids so I could get things done. Yeah, right!

Here is Mariah - she looks so innocent, doesn't she?

Here's Mariah busy in the kitchen - where she isn't supposed to be, mainly because it hasn't been childproofed for her yet:

Uh, Keith, are you watching Mariah?

Keith???

And here is the "babysitter."

I'm so impressed with the Chucky Cheese. It looks so clean and organized! And the kids look like they are having a blast!!!

And regarding your babysitter...tell him he's fired!

That is too funny. I think Greg and Keith must have studied at the same how to be a good babysitter school. Greg is always falling asleep when he is supposed to be watching Sophia!
